Nokia 6.1 Geekbench score leaked ahead of global launch
The handset was spotted on Geekbench running a Snapdragon 636 SoC with 4GB of RAM.
There had been rumblings in the rumour mill regarding Nokia’s plans to release a global version of the Nokia X6. Now, a Geekbench benchmark has revealed the handset and it comes right ahead of it’s rumoured launch on July 19.
As per a report by MySmartPrice, the handset has made an appearance on Geekbench sporting the Nokia 6.1 moniker. This would be Nokia’s first notched handset and it runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC that is clocked at 1.8GHz along with an Adreno 509 GPU. The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and it is believed that a 6GB version of the device will be launched as well. The handset is expected to ship with Android 8.1 Oreo. As for the scores, the Nokia 6.1 scored 1332 points in the single-core test and 4903 points in the multi-core test.
The Nokia 6.1 is the global variant of the Nokia X6, so we expect specifications to be identical across the board. The handset is expected to feature a 5.8-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels along with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The handset will feature three memory configurations such as 4GB RAM 32GB of storage, 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM with 64GB of storage. There should be a dual-camera setup on the rear with the primary camera being rated at 16MP while the secondary sensor will feature a 5MP sensor. The handset is expected to not feature 4K video recording capabilities. As for the front-facing camera, the brand will employ a 16MP shooter with a f/2.0 aperture.
All this and more will be revealed in a few short days when the handset is officially unveiled.
