Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime to launch today: specifications, price

Samsung is gearing up to launch its latest budget smartphone — Galaxy On7 Prime in India today. The event will take place in Delhi and will kick start at 12:00 PM. The smartphone will be available exclusively via Amazon India. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime has budget level specifications and is expected to be priced at Rs 15,000.

As for the specifications, the handset sports a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. It is expected to be powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset. The device might be available in two variants, one with 3GB RAM/32GB storage and the other one with 4GB RAM/64GB storage, both of which will be expandable up to 256GB.

If rumours are to be believed, the smartphone might sport a 13MP camera with a f/1.9 aperture on the front and back. Moreover, the phone would also support Samsung Pay Mini and will come with a home button, below the display. On the connectivity front, the Galaxy On7 Prime includes Bluetooth v4.1, ANT+, Micro-USB 2.0, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone might come in two colour variants — Black and Gold.

Besides, Samsung launched its mid-range smartphone — Galaxy A8+ in India for Rs 32,990. The Galaxy A8+ will go on sale in India on January 20.
