Apart from the iPhone 11 and 11 Max, there is also a listing for the iPhone 11R and it will have a similar camera hump but fitted with two rear shooters as opposed to three.

The 2019 Apple iPhone 11 line-up is fast approaching and if the latest roadmap is to be believed, then this trio of handsets will debut by the end of September. Keeping this release in mind, popular case manufacturer Olixar has published an image of a tempered glass and this render confirms the ungodly square camera hump that will make its debut on the iPhone 11.

A report by PocketNow states that even though the handsets haven’t been unveiled, Olizar has issued preorders in its website for the tempered glass for the rear panel of the iPhone 11. This all but confirms the triple camera system for the iPhone 11 and 11 Max. Preorders for this glass protector have been listed on Mobile Fun’s website and they line up with the renders that have been recently making the rounds on the interweb.

Apart from the iPhone 11 and 11 Max, there is also a listing for the iPhone 11R and it will have a similar camera hump but fitted with two rear shooters as opposed to three.

Reports suggest Apple will add a third camera on the iPhone 11 and 11 Max to include a super-wide 12MP camera which will be similar to what’s seen on the Samsung Galaxy S10. Rumours surrounding the camera go on to claim that these lenses will feature a special black coating to make the camera bump appealing. Apart from the cameras, the next series of iPhones will feature a realigned mute switch, side buttons and volume rockers. Apple will lower these buttons and switch slightly in comparison to the current generation iPhones. While the iPhone 11 and 11 Max will feature slightly realigned buttons, the iPhone 11R’s button placement is said to be unaltered.

With there being some time before the iPhone 11 series launches, Apple could change the final design of the device. However, case makers usually have inside information as they want to launch their products right alongside the launch of the iPhone 11.

The square hump on the rear is gaining attention for all the wrong reasons and the media has been bashing this design choice that Apple plans to use. As of now, we don’t know if Apple has settled on this design but from the looks of it, the design has been set in concrete that’s quickly drying.
