Nokia is gearing up for the 6.1 Plus launch

The brand has released a teaser video ahead of its August 21 unveiling.

Apart from the earlier variant, the smartphone will now also be available in the variant of 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

There have been various rumours suggesting that Nokia will be hosting an event on August 21 and one of the devices to be showcased is the Nokia 6.1 Plus. To fuel our anticipation, Nokia has released a teaser video on its Indian twitter account.

As per the tweet, Nokia states, “We are thrilled to bring you the Nokia smartphones event for the most awaited phone. Stay tuned to #BringItOn with #NokiaMobile

This could indicate that there could be multiple phones launching but all signs point to the release of the Nokia 6.1 Plus.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus has already made its global debut so we have a clue as to what features may be loaded in the device. here is a 5.8-inch full HD+ display notch with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and sports a 19:9 aspect ratio. the handset runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset, paired with a 4GB of RAM and a 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable by way of a microSD card. It is backed by a 3060mAh battery, with support for Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The device sports a 16MP+5MP dual rear camera setup and a 16MP camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The company is touting the presence of AI-based features for better photography. Connectivity options on the Nokia 6.1 Plus include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
