Nokia 6 to receive Android Nougat 7.1.1 update

Nokia’s recently launched Nokia 6 smartphone has apparently started receiving Android Nougat 7.1.1 update. According to Android Soul, HMD Global, the company that owns exclusive rights to Nokia mobile brand, has reportedly started rolling out the update to the Nokia 6 smartphone.

The update consists of several new features along with a security patch released by Google in April.

New features such as shortcut-support on home screen, updated emojis, a new power-saving mode and background app management ability come along with the Nougat update. Apart from that, the update also includes bug fixes and system enhancements.
