Other notable differences seen on the OnePlus 7 include a triple rear camera layout.

With the OnePlus 7 series of handsets expected to drop mid next month, the leaks and rumours of the handsets are coming flying in. The last we heard about these models is that the OnePlus 7 will be a minor upgrade over the OnePlus 6T, at least aesthetically speaking. And the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with flagship features such as an elevated selfie camera and a triple camera setup on the back.

Now, as per a report by GSMArena, the latest bit of information regarding the OnePlus 7 Pro is that it will come with a QHD+ 90Hz display which will automatically put it head and shoulders above its rivals as well as propel it into the gaming smartphone category and in the process making the UI extremely smooth.

The latest rumours also suggest that the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with stereo speaks. We are really not too sure how this will be implemented as the leaked renders show hardly any forehead on top. It will be interesting to see how OnePlus manages to fit this in their handset.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is also expected to come with a 4000mAh battery and this should help in the power management of the QHD+ display. Further information regarding the battery is that it will come with support for 30W Warp Charge. As of now, information regarding this is pretty slim, but considering that the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition had it, it’s safe to assume that the Pro will come with it as well. The report also mentions that the OnePlus 7 Pro will finally get USB 3.1 connectivity.

As far as optics go, the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with three rear sensors which means it will sport a wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide angle sensor. OnePlus has announced that a 5G capable handset is also in the works, so we can assume that it will be based on the 7 Pro when announced.
