Current Apple flagships get massive price cut in India

The Apple iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max get heavily discounted in India ahead of iPhone 11 debut.

There are some approvals pending but the iPhone XS and iPhone XR that's under the Make in India' initiative are most likely set to hit shelves across the country by this August.

For those of you who have been holding out on getting an iPhone because you are daunted by the steep price, here is some great news for you. The iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR have all received major discounts in India ahead of the September 27, iPhone 11 launch.

The iPhone XR is now priced at Rs 49,900 for the 64GB and extends to a mere Rs 54,900 for the 128GB option. The iPhone XR is available in six beautiful colours — White, Black, Blue, Coral, Yellow and Product (RED). For the uninitiated, the iPhone XR features a 6.1-inch LCD Liquid Retina Display that’s better than most rivals out there. It has IP67 water resistance and can be submerged to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes. It comes with a 12MP rear camera with OIS and a 7MP TrueDepth front camera. It also features Face ID for secure authentication and is powered by an A12 Bionic processor with next-generation Neural Engine. Apart from this, it comes with wireless charging capabilities and works with all Qi wireless chargers.

The iPhone XS now starts at Rs 81,000 and receives a Rs 18,900 price drop for the 64GB option. The 256GB variant is now priced at Rs 1,03,900 and with it, you get a 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED display with HDR1. It has IP68 dust and water resistance and can be dipped in water to a maximum depth of 2 metres for up to 30 minutes. There are 12MP dual cameras with dual OIS and 7MP TrueDepth front camera. It has Face ID and it too features an A12 Bionic processor with next-generation Neural Engine. Like the iPhone XR, it also comes with Qi wireless charging.

The iPhone XS Max now starts at Rs 99,900 for the 64GB option. The 256GB version is priced at Rs 1,13,900 while the 512GB option gets a price cut of Rs 18,400 and now sells for Rs 1,26,500. The features of the iPhone XS are almost identical to the iPhone XS Max with the only difference coming with the screen size. The larger of the two models features a 6.5-inch OLED display. The iPhone XS and XS Max come in three colours — Space Grey, Silver and Gold.
