Vivo NEX 3 screenshot reveals 5G support
More details on the Vivo NEX 3 include the presence of a headphone jack and a 'waterfall' curved screen.
We have already had a few leaks of the Vivo NEX 3 ahead of the phone’s official unveiling and Vivo’s product manager Li Xiang has been the prime reason for the same. After confirming that the NEX 3 will retain the headphone jack and have the waterfall curved display, now, Xiang has shared a partial screenshot taken on the new phone.
What instantly grabbed our attention is the 5G network sign next to the battery percentage. The screenshot sneakily revealed that the Vivo NEX 3 will indeed have 5G support. There is also another 5G hint on the top left of the screenshot, where the 5G indication is visible above the signal bars.
The device will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s latest offering, the Snapdragon 855+. The 855+ has support for 5G, so it only makes sense that the phone supports 5G as well.
We will have more details on the Vivo NEX 3 closer to its launch so stay tuned.
