V15 Pro will now be available in both 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB options.

At an event in New Delhi, Vivo addressed the media and took the wraps off the Vivo V15 Pro. The handset comes loaded with some interesting features chief of which being the 32MP pop-up selfie camera. It also boasts some flagship specifications such as a triple rear camera configuration comprising of a 48MP primary shooter backed by an 8MP sensor and a 5MP tertiary sensor, an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as fast charging.

The Vivo V15 Pro sits in the upper mid-range segment with the brand aggressively pricing it at Rs 28,990 and available in two colour options —Ruby Red and Topaz Blue. The handset goes on sale on March 6 with pre-orders already starting on Flipkart from today, February 20.

The Vivo V15 Pro is a camera-centric handset but also has the processing power to back it up. The model will launch in a single configuration and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC that’s paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The storage can be expanded to a further 256GB by way of a micro SD card. The front-facing 32MP pop-up selfie camera is the highlighted feature here but the triple rear camera setup is by no means a slouch as it features a 48MP Quad Pixel sensor that’s assisted by an 8MP and a 5MP sensor. Vivo has used a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED Ultra View Full HD+ display that’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The Vivo V15 Pro runs on FunTouch OS 9 that’s based on Android 9.0 Pie and includes all the nifty tricks that are available with Google’s latest and greatest OS. Featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor that’s of the fifth generation, Vivo claims that it can unlock the handset in 0.37 seconds. Lastly, to keep the handset alive, the brand has added a 3700mAh battery that supports Dual Engine Fast Charge.

With Vivo pricing the V 15 Pro aggressively in India at Rs 28,990, it goes head to head with the likes of the Nokia 8.1 and Samsung Galaxy A9.
