ASUS announces 6GB variant of the Zenfone Max Pro M1
The new variant also sports an upgraded 16MP + 5MP dual rear camera setup and a front 16MP camera with front and rear flash.
After several months of releasing the Zenfone Max Pro M1 standard variants, ASUS has finally announced the 6GB RAM variant of ZenFone Max Pro M1. The handset will be available from July 26th on Flipkart and will sell for Rs 14,999.
The ZenFone Max Pro M1 is now armed with a dual rear camera setup comprising of a high-resolution 16MP sensor with f/2.0 wide-aperture lens. The secondary 5MP camera is a dedicated depth-sensing camera for the bokeh effect. The front camera also gets bumped up to 16MP along with a soft-light LED flash and a beautification feature. ASUS claims that this variant should offer better photography results.
Rest of the ZenFone Max Pro M1 remains unchanged. It still retains its highlights such as the massive 5000mAh battery and 5.99-inch FHD+ Full View display. The M1 is built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset with Adreno 509 graphics. This is also ASUS’ first smartphone to offer a stock version of Android Oreo 8.1. The smartphone comes equipped with NXP Smart Amp, a 5-Magnet Speaker and a passive amplifier accessory ‘The Max-Box’.
The Zenfone Max Pro M1 is available in two colour variants — Deepsea Black, and Grey. The smartphone is also available in 3GB/32GB variant for ₹10,999 and the 4GB/64GB for ₹12,999.
