According to leaked specs, it can be assumed that the upcoming Motorola One Action is pretty much the Motorola One Vision with a plastic body.

The latest in Motorola’s One series, the One Action is set to launch in Indian markets by the 23rd of August.  After the launch of the One Vision, the newest member of Google’s Android One initiative shall support the latest Android 9.0 Pie. This camera is a 16MP middle lens lens that has a 117 degree ultra-wide view. The phone has a triple camera set-up. With the ultra-wide lens people could shoot landscape videos while holding the phone vertically since it is mounted at a 90 degree angle, letting the user comfortably take action shots. The other two rear cameras shall be a 12MP and a 5MP lens, improving portrait quality. The front camera shall be a punch hole 12MP sensor.

With the screen shall spread seamlessly from edge-to-edge on the handset, it will be 6.3-inches long with a 1080x2520 resolution and a 21:9 Full HD+ CineVision display. It shall also support face unlock with a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Other sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope and a proximity sensor. Inside, the phone will run on a 2.2GHz Samsung Exynos 9609 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM. While the phone’s battery has a sufficient capacity of 3,500mAh, it does not support turbo charging, instead having a 10W charger.

The storage capacity of the phone shall be 128GB, capable of expanding to 512GB with a microSD card. A dual sim handset, it shall support two micro-sims.

The phone will be compatible with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.  It shall also sport a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Sold at Rs 20,635 in Europe, Brazil and Mexico, one could expect it to retail in India at the same price unless Motorola decides to subsidise costs for India.  It shall come in three colours namely- Denim Blue, Pearl White and Aqua Teal and will be available exclusively on E-commerce website, Flipkart.
