Apple to replace your iPhone 6 Plus with 6s Plus
Here's a good news for iPhone 6 Plus users.
Users who have a damaged iPhone 6 Plus and qualifies for a whole-device replacement, here is a good news. According to an internal document distributed to Apple Authorized Service Providers, Apple might replace your damaged iPhone 6 Plus with an iPhone 6s Plus through the end of March.
Apple specifically states that "orders for whole unit service inventory of some iPhone 6 Plus models may be substituted to an iPhone 6s Plus until the end of March 2018," as per MacRumors.
The company has not specified that which iPhone 6 Plus models are eligible to be replaced. MacRumors stated that "Apple has not provided a reason for the substitution, but it likely relates to Apple's shortage of iPhone 6 Plus replacement batteries until late March to early April."
A previous report suggested that the Cupertino giant no longer manufactures the iPhone 6 Plus, so it apparently has to reboot its production lines to refill its supply.
