Samsung's Note 8 could flaunt a premium price tag
The Galaxy Note 8 could start at from $940 (Rs 60,000) and could go updawards, ensuring a premium positioning of the phablet.
It’s been only a few hours before Samsung unveils the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 8 — their most premium offering for the smartphone market. Various leaks have already given us a fair idea about how the Galaxy Note 8 looks and now, we even have a fair idea about the price tag that will be printed on the Note 8’s retail box — thanks to IT Home.
The Note 8 is expected to come in three variants, which are as follows:
6GB RAM/64GB storage = $940 (Rs 60,000 approx.)
6GB RAM/128GB storage = $1060 (Rs 67,000 approx.)
6GB RAM/256GB storage = $1200 (Rs 77,000 approx.)
Although this is still a rumour, there’s a high chance of this becoming a reality. The Note 8 is supposed to be the most premium offering from the Korean giant. The existing Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ demand a premium of over Rs 60,000 in the Indian market. The Note 8 has to sit over the S8 in Samsung’s lineup and therefore will have higher price tags than the Galaxy S8. The Note 8 will be unveiled on 23rd August.
