Realme C2 launched with tempting price tag

The handset boasts a dewdrop notch and a diamond-cut design that's made with a laser-cut technology.

The Realme C2 is priced at Rs 5,999 for the 2GB/16GB configuration while the 3GB/32GB model costs Rs 7,999.

Realme C2 has officially been launched in India and it will take on the upcoming Redmi 7 which is expected to be announced in a couple of days. The Realme 3 Pro comes with a budget price tag but boasts the design scheme that’s featured on handsets priced over Rs 10K. The handset comes with a diamond-cut design that is made with a laser-cut technology and a triple-layer paint job. Apart from this, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup and a 19:5:9 display panel due to the dewdrop notch.

The Realme C2 is priced at Rs 5,999 for the 2GB/16GB configuration while the 3GB/32GB model costs Rs 7,999. The handset when launched on May 15 will be available in two colour options — Diamond Black and Diamond Blue and will be available on Flipkart and Realme.com.

Under the hood, the Realme C2 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset with ColorOS 6 that’s based on Android Pie. The handset features a 6.2-inch HD+ display and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The dual camera on the rear comprises of a 13MP sensor with an F/2.2 lens and a 2MP sensor with an F/2.4 lens. The selfie camera here is rated at 5MP and it comes with an F/2.0 lens. There are AI-powered features to enhance the selfie experience along with AI Face Unlock.

Lastly, the Realme C2 features a 4000mAh battery and it’s charged using a micro USB port.
