Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has finally revealed the launch date of its much anticipated Mi Max 2 smartphone. Putting all rumours and half baked reports to rest, the company took to Weibo to announce May 25 as the launch date of the device.
We already have an idea on what the device will offer, but the website officially revealed some of those features teasing the launch of the smartphone. The Mi Max 2 will be a big screened device with over 6-inches of display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 626 processor paired with 4GB RAM.
It is expected to feature a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor and a 5MP front facing snapper. The smartphone will draw power from a huge 5000mAh battery. The pricing is expected to range between CNY 1,499 (Rs 14,000) and CNY 1,699 (Rs 16,000).
