Xiaomi Video reveals Redmi Note 8 series

We are just a week away from the unveiling of the next phone in the Redmi Note series, which is the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Xiaomi recently showed us a video featuring an Asian rock band as a promotion for the upcoming phone series. “You can see more of the beautiful world,” says drummer of the band on the all new 64MP camera sensor.

The official unveiling date is August 29, which is also the date when Xiaomi will launch their 70-inch flatscreen smart TV. Coming back to the Note 8 series, we expect two main variants, the Note 8 and the Note 8 Pro, with multiple memory variants for the same. The differences between the two variants are not very clear as of now.

Ahead of more information and possible leaks, we know so far that thanks to Xiaomi’s new deal with Mediatek, the new phone will likely sport the MediaTek Helio G90T processor. We expect only the Note 8 Pro to have the new 64Mp sensor, and the Note 8 might just stick with the regular 48MP sensor.
