iOS 11 has been designed keeping in mind its compatibility with the Internet of Things (IoT) devices as well as modern-day wearables.

Apple might be in works to big alterations to its iPhone lineup, but there’s a chance that its 2018 lineup won’t include only the models projected to go on sale in the fall. And there might be a second-generation iPhone SE in the offing.

There isn’t much information available out there but it’s speculated the smartphone will still flaunt 4-inch screen and will be manufactured by Wistron in India. The device will be selling worldwide, despite only being made in India, and the shipments should kick off sometime in March.

With the iPhone SE, Apple wanted to cater its user base that wanted to stick to old hardware just because they loved 4-inch phones. Although, the iPhone SE wasn’t a bigger success, but it still did the job very well, especially at time when large screen phones are becoming a norm.

To recall, the iPhone SE is powered by a 64-bit A9 chipset, faster GPU, and M9 motion coprocessor for Always-On ‘Hey Siri.’ The iPhone SE has received massive improvements in comparison to the 2013 "5S model". Moreover, the SE also supports 4K video playback, which was not available on the iPhone 5S.
