With the Redmi K20 set to launch on May 28, Xiaomi has been steadily dropping teasers of this upcoming smartphone. The primary feature of this handset will be a 48MP shooter on the rear that will be a Sony IMX586 lens as revealed by the founder himself. Moving on, the Redmi K20 will come boasting the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC and will effectively put it in the flagship segment of 2019 devices as it is the ‘in’ chipset to have.
Apart from the speedy processor, the handset will come with 960fps slow-mo video recording and a massive 4000mAh battery which you can expect to last well over a day. The Redmi K20 will also come with a 7th generation in-display fingerprint sensor which should make unlocking the handset pretty zippy.
The FHD+ 6.39-inch OLED display of the Redmi K20 will feature a 19:5:9 ratio as there will be a pop-up selfie camera on top. This front-facing shooter will have a 20MP sensor with an F2.0 aperture. As mentioned earlier, the primary sensor on the rear will be rated at 48MP and it will come with an F1.7 aperture and 1.6 micron sized pixels. The primary shooter here will be assisted by a 13MP F/2.4 lens and an 8MP F/2.4 sensor. These two shooters could be for an ultra-wide angle camera and a telephoto lens respectively.
The massive 4000mAh battery is expected to come with 27W fast charge support while the SD855 chipset will feature an Adreno 640GPU. Lastly, the handset will feature UFS2.1 storage.
