Oppo launches F5 Youth with 16MP selfie camera

It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, while there is a 16MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The Oppo F5 Youth is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 octa core processor backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with company's ColorOS custom UI on the top.

After launching the Oppo F5 earlier this month, the company has now unveiled the cheaper variant of the device dubbed as the F5 Youth. The smartphone has been announced in the Philippines for a price of PHP 13,990 (approx Rs 17,800).

The smartphone borrows a lot from its predecessor in terms of design. However, it downgrades the camera and RAM according to its price. The device will ship in Black and Gold colour options.

As for the specifications, the device sports a bezel-less design with a 6-inch full HD+ display with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
