Official images of Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus appear online

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be available at a price of €799 (approx. Rs 58,000) and €899 (approx. Rs 65,000) respectively.

The Galaxy S8 is the first commercially available smartphone to feature the Bluetooth 5 standard.

Samsung is all set to launch the much-awaited smartphone—Galaxy S8 on March 29 in New York. While the company is preparing to unveil its next flagship, leaks about the device have surfaced online in full glory, revealing its looks, specification, features and price as well.

The recent information about the upcoming device has been leaked by a website Winfuture. According to it, as reported earlier, the Galaxy S8 will feature a 5.8-inch (2960 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display, while the Plus variant of the phone will have a 6.2-inch (2960 x 1440 pixels) display. The models could be powered by either Exynos 8895 or Snapdragon 835 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM, and will offer 64GB of storage option, which could further be expanded using a microSD card. The smartphones will consist of a 12MP rear sensor and an 8M front sensor, and will operate on latest Android operating system Android 7.0 Nougat

The Galaxy S8 will be powered by a 3000mAh battery; on the other hand, S8 Plus will be fuelled by a 3500mAh battery.

The models will be equipped with an iris-scanner and a digital voice-assistant Bixby. However, this time the Galaxy smartphone will sport the sensor-button on the rear of the smartphone, unlike the previous models.

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be available in “Black Sky,” “Orchid Grey” and “Arctic Silver” colour, at a price of €799 (approx. Rs 58,000) and €899 (approx. Rs 65,000) respectively.
