OnePlus 6T India launch date hinted in new leak

OnePlus 6T rumours and leaks have been garnering a lot of attention across the globe. And, looking at the huge success which ongoing OnePlus 6 is, this comes as no surprise. We have just shown you the latest 3D renders of the upcoming device which leave nothing much hidden about its design. Now, we have acquired information about the official India launch of the OnePlus 6T.
According to a new leaked image which surfaced on Weibo (Yes, the same Chinese platform), the highly awaited handset will be launched in India on September 17 while the opening of bookings will be followed by this as it is set to start on September 21. The image basically represents an invitation which clarifies the India launch date. The same launch date came out in previous leaks as well, and this new post only increases the prospects of its launch on the said date.
In the invitation, the silhouette of the smartphone bears the lettering ‘Unlock the Speed’ at the centre which signals towards the latest in-display fingerprint sensor, similar to the OPPO and Vivo devices. The similarities are highly likely to continue on the display as well which will sport a panel with ‘waterdrop’ style cut out.
A leak in the past had also hinted that the OnePlus flagship will be backed by a larger battery as compared to the OP6. Fuelling the successor will be a 3700mAh unit which will perhaps get the support for 50W VOOC Flash Charge.
How much of all these details turn out to be turn remains to be seen until the OnePlus 6T is officially launched in India.
