Nokia 7.1 India launch in November: Report
The Nokia 7.1 sports a 5.84-inch PureDisplay 19:9 display with a resolution of 2280x1080 pixels and HDR10 support.
HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, recently launched its latest smartphone — the Nokia 7.1 at an event in London, and now the company is rumoured to the launch the smartphone in India in the coming weeks.
As per a report by 91mobiles, the Nokia 7.1 will make its way to the Indian shores in November and it will be priced under Rs 30,000. The device was launched at a retail price of €299 (approx Rs 25,400) in the European market and it may get a similar price label here in India. Also, the smartphone was recently showcased at India Mobile Congress 2018. However, as of now, there's no official word from the company on the launch of the Nokia 7.1 in India.
As for the specifications, the Nokia 7.1 sports a 5.84-inch PureDisplay 19:9 display with a resolution of 2280x1080 pixels and HDR10 support. The smartphone does look identical to the Nokia 6.1 Plus in terms of design language. At its core, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset, paired with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 400GB via hybrid SIM slot. The Android One smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
On the photography front, there is a dual rear camera setup with Carl Zeiss optics, including a 12MP f/1.8 primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera. Upfront, the handset packs in an 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. It is backed by a 3060mAh battery. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for additional security.
