iPhone users reportedly facing issues

New report claims that several iOS users were facing severe battery issue when playing videos on YouTube app.

It is believed that YouTube has slowly become a bit of a battery hog on iOS and several iPhone users are looking its replacement just because power usage reached record levels.

Ever since the iPhone X saw the light of the day, several issues have been popping up gradually. A few days back a new report claimed that several iOS users were facing severe battery issue when playing videos on YouTube app. It was reported that the device would become warm and quickly drain out.

Following which Google has released an update for YouTube app that addresses battery drain issue on iPhone and iPad. The update will bump the version of the app up to version 12.45. The update does not reveal if it includes any other fixes or changes, but the new update will be focused on the battery draining issue.

There were also reports that watching a 15 minutes video clip could knock down more than 10 per cent of battery life, while at the same time causing their device to become noticeably warm.

Earlier reports claimed that the several users were facing unresponsive touch in cold weather. Later crackling and buzzing sound emanating from the device’s front-facing earpiece speaker was also reported.

Besides, Apple is said to be working with LG to develop a foldable iPhone that can be opened and closed like a book.
