Earlier this month, Vivo announced the APEX 2019 concept phone and if the Chinese smartphone giant has its say, this is truly going to be the future of smartphones. While the concept phone may or may not become a reality, the brand is preparing to launch a new handset that’s dubbed the V15 Pro. And as per a report by GSMArena, this smartphone will sport a Vivo NEX-style pop-up camera and a triple rear camera configuration.

This bit of information has been passed on by sources who are familiar with BBK Electronics plans. For those not in the know, BBK Electronics is the parent company of OPPO and Vivo and both brands will be using smartphones with pop-up mechanisms in their 2019 iPhones. The very same source has posted images online of a silicone case that’s meant to be for the V15 Pro. From the images, we can see a tall cut-out what’s meant to be for the triple camera and a wide hole up top for the pop-up camera.

GSMArena states, “Looking at the photos, we should expect the very same selfie camera mechanism as the Vivo NEX smartphones. The tall hole on the back reveals a vertical setup on the left side of the pane. It is likely making room for three sensors, but we might have a dual camera and a ToF shooter that doesn't do too much yet.”

The report goes on to state that there will be a new key on the left side of the device that will be used to access the personal assistant Jovi. Also, from the images, we can see that there are cut-outs for the USB charger at the bottom, a hole for the 3.5mm audio jack on top and one beside it for the noise cancelling microphone.

Apart from this, there is no other information available for the Vivo V15 Pro. But if case manufacturers have already started making cases, then the official release should happen in the near future.
