Vivo S1 price leaks; is this the best 'budget flagship' yet?
The source states that the 4+64GB edition of the device will be priced at Rs 17,990.
Ahead of the launch of the Vivo S1 an insider has reportedly leaked the price of the upcoming addition to the recent row of budget flagship devices, which offer premium features at cutthroat prices.
The source states that the 4+64GB edition of the device will be priced at Rs 17,990. However there are two more memory variants to choose from, with the 6+128GB one priced at Rs 19,990, and the 8+128GB priced at Rs 24,990.
The pricing seems competitive but we wouldn’t completely rely on this information, given the massive price hike between the 6GB and 8GB variants (Rs 5,000 more).
The Vivo S1 is not to be confused with another device launched in China with the same name. This device is more likely a rebranded Vivo Y7S.
The phone will feature a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will run on the MediaTek Helio P65 chipset, with Android 9.0 Pie and Vivo’s Funtouch 9 skin on top of it. There is a triple (16MP+8MP+5MP) camera setup at the back and the 32MP front camera sits in a dew-drop notch. The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery.
