Xiaomi's POCO F1 made 200+ crores in less than 5 minutes

Xiaomi knows the business and offering incredible features at staggeringly cheap price tags is one of its major strategies. The newly launched POCO F1 from Xiaomi is among the benchmark setters and the way it sold on its first day (August 29) of flash sale, rivals have surely got a reason to worry.

According to the latest post on POCO’s official Twitter page, ‘200+ crores were generated in less than 5 minutes thanks to all the masters of speed.’ Just like every flash sales of Xiaomi, prospective POCO buyers were perhaps logged on to the website and were waiting for the device to get available. The company didn’t announce the exact number of devices sold on the first day

Going by those numbers, GSMArena estimated — if all the booked devices were the flagship model (priced at Rs 29,999) then 68,965 must  have been sold. And, if all of them were the base variant (priced at Rs 20,999), then 100,000 units were sold. Overall, at least 68,965 units of the POCO F1 were sold on its very first flash sale.

For all those who wanted to book the cheapest Snapdragon 845 smartphone, the next flash sale for the Xiaomi’s POCO F1 will be held on September 5.
