Official image of iPhone XS leaked showing new colour variant
Apple will be unveiling the new iPhones on October 12 and will be adding a new colour variant.
When Apple announced the iPhone X last year it came out in two colour options — Space Grey and Silver. There were a lot of rumours flying around at the time that Apple would have launched the handset in a gold hue as well, but such was not the case. Now, with Apple set to announce the next-generation iPhones on September 12, the Cupertino-based brand is finally readying to announce a third colour option.
As per a report by 9to5Mac who has got an official image of the upcoming iPhone, we can see for a certainty that the OLED models will come in two sizes and in a brand new gold colour option. The report states that “Apple leaked its own gold version of the iPhone X through the FCC, but it has not been available to purchase.”
As for the name, there had been a lot of deliberation and now it appears that upon launch Apple will be calling the next-generation iPhone, the iPhone XS. The report also goes on to state that the new gold variant will be made available on both, the 5.8-inch iPhone XS and the larger 6.5-inch version.
At the Apple event, we expect the brand to unveil the next-generation Apple Watch and possibly a new MacBook Air with Retina Display.
