Apple has mistakenly left a code and images in its latest iOS 13.2 release which confirm smart battery cases.

The iPhone 11 series of handsets is quite a vast improvement over the boring iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. A point to keep in mind for this major upgrade is its excellent battery life and this makes these handsets standout where previous iPhones have failed. Now, Apple has mistakenly leaked additional enhancements for the best feature of the iPhone 11 line-up and these may be exactly what’s needed.

As per a report by MacRumors and 9to5Mac, Apple has mistakenly left code and images in its latest iOS 13.2 release which confirm smart battery cases for the trio of iPhone 11 handsets. This corroborates with the previous leak by Apple after it concealed the code names of these cases in iOS 13.

There is nothing much to separate each case from the next and the only difference is that they come with different sizes to accommodate the different iPhone 11 sizes. However, Apple hasn’t altered the appearance of these smart battery cases and has used the same design which has been used from years. The only design change here is the square camera cutout on the rear for the triple or dual camera setup.

As per a related report by Forbes, “So why would an iPhone range with class-leading battery life need a case to provide even more? Lasting even longer is never a bad thing (are you listening, Google?) but, more immediately, it is because of a serious bug in iOS 13 which is killing iPhone battery life.”
