SanDisk has expanded its storage device portfolio with the launch of 256GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I Premium Edition card, and the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 pen drive with both USB and Micro-USB connectors. Both devices are targeted towards Android users looking for a high capacity storage device.
The 256GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card is claimed to be waterproof, x-ray proof, temperature and shock proof and it offers transfer speed rates up to 95MBps. It can also record up to 24 hours of HD video and store other high quality media.
The card is priced at Rs 13,390 and will be selling exclusively through the e-commerce website Amazon.in. It will go on sale starting December and will later be available through offline stores as well.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 on the other hand comes with two physical connecters, a standard USB 3.0 Type-A and a Micro-USB. The unique design allows USB-OTG functionality and connectivity with PC. It will be available in 16GB to 128GB storage variants. It offers transfer speeds up to 150MBps when using the USB 3.0 connector.
The 16GB variant is priced at Rs 650, while the 128GB will be selling at Rs 3,600. It will be exclusively available through Flipkart at first, and will be available on offline stores later. Users will also get five year warranty. Both products can be used with SanDisk's free Memory Zone app for Android that allows users to back up their data and browse through content.
