The 4-year-old messaging app, Snapchat has made communicating more of a game by letting people send annotated selfies and short videos. The simplicity of the application is quickly boosted by its popularity among young people.
Earlier, users were required to manually enter the Snapchat handle and/or name to send messaged to friends. But now, Snapchat has quietly implemented a new feature, allowing users’ to suggest accounts for friends from their ‘friend list’—to follow on Snapchat.
To use the feature, one needs to simply tap and hold on someone’s name listed in the ‘Stories’ section. A small window will appear on the screen with the name of the suggested account. Then click on the blue arrow on the right and you can send the account to other people as a private chat.
