Aishwarya Sakhuja to play desi Charlie’s Angel

Aishwarya Sakhuja is currently gearing up for the comedy thriller Trideviyaan, which is loosely inspired by the famous Hollywood blockbuster Charlie’s Angels. The actress will be seen playing an over-zealous desi agent and will have two avatars in the show. At home, she will be called Dhanushree Chauhan, a coy bahu whereas on duty, she will be addressed as the super agent, Laal Qilla.

Describing her look in the show, Aishwarya shares, “I will be seen wearing trendy sarees at home. But once I step out as a super agent, my appearance will change drastically. I will don a smart black outfit, complete with leather jacket and short hair. The trickiest part was performing aerial stunts. Since we were wearing a harness along with our tight outfits, we had to be cautious. It could make us look buffed up.”

Each episode will see them solve a conflict of domestic or national importance. She says, “Trideviyaan has the daughter and daughters-in-law playing secret agents. We are trying to show the lead characters taking care of the country while maintaining a normal household routine.”
