Bharat Chawda makes a debut in regional cinema

Noted television actor Bharat Chawda, who was seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram-Leela, will now be making his debut in regional cinema with a Gujarati movie titled Shubh Aarambh. The actor will be seen playing an NRI in the film. The light-eyed actor has been part of successful shows like Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kuch Iss Tarah, Uttaran and Hamsafar. It was his role in Meri Bhabhi that got him wide recognition, and even got him a role in Ram-Leela. Bharat says, “Being a Gujarati myself, working on the film is a dream come true. I always wanted to make a foray into regional cinema. Shubh Aarambh is an emotional family drama. I play an NRI architect in the movie who comes to Ahmedabad to get married. I am sure the audience will find a lot in common with the character and connect to it.”
