We recently spotted Sonakshi Sinha selling flowers outside a popular Mumbai college. On a li’l snooping, we found out this was for the show Mission Sapne. Sonakshi is raising money to support the Red Brigade group, which works towards helping girls who are survivors of sexual assault. Speaking about her experience, Sonakshi said, “The best part was that I got to meet a lot of wonderful people from the Red Brigade, who work towards comforting young girls who have been victims of sexual harassment. They also teach the girls self-defense. I decided to be a part of Mission Sapne because they are doing a great job of helping people to achieve their dreams. I have followed the first season of the show and was more than happy to be a part of this great cause to raise money for these young girls. I thoroughly enjoyed it.” We hear security had to be upped for the shoot as Sona’s fans were over-eager to purchase flowers from her, even at a high price. Only a few of them got lucky, but the actress was more than happy with the money she earned.

It’s time for some high-octane action on our TV soaps. Ravi Dubey from Jamai Raja and Vibahv Roy from Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyan have both shot some dangerous stunt sequences for their shows. Ravi’s stunt saw his character being hit by a bullet and falling off a cliff. Ravi went ahead and did the scene, hanging from cables and falling from a height of approximately 300 feet. Ravi says, “It was scary to say the least; there was a time when I wondered if I could really pull it off. I even considered coming down but a lot of time, energy and monetary investment had been made, so I pushed my limits and went for the kill.”

Vibhav, on the other hand, was to be thrown into 100-ft deep lake. “The water was cold and honestly, I went numb for some seconds. I knew I was underwater. I kept my eyes closed and remembered what my dad had taught me. He told me that the salt water throws you up at least twice and then you need to start paddling with your hands and legs. This one basic lesson of his actually saved my life and with my eyes closed, I kept paddling till I could touch the surface,” says Vibhav.

Buzz from the Bigg Boss house is that one of the most popular contestants, Keith Sequeira, may be leaving the show midway. A source in the know says, “Keith has a family bereavement to attend to and is most likely to leave the show, for the time being at least.”
