We hear that Shah Rukh Khan had an embarrassing moment on the sets of his game show Sabse Shaana Kaun recently. SRK was happily reporting to all and sundry how he had gone to the sabzi mandi and bargained for veggies. He proudly showed off tomatoes he’d bought for '300 a kg and brinjals, for '200 a kg. SRK’s proud moment was short-lived however. “The production guys whom SRK was narrating all this to let him know that he’d paid a much greater price than the veggies warranted,” a source said. “SRK realised he should stick to what he does best — host the show.”
Krip Kapur Suri is known for his negative roles on TV, but he will now be seen playing the lead role in Balaji Telefilms’ Kalash — Ek Vishwaas on Life OK. Suri portrays Vikram, an atheist who believes in making his own destiny. He is a go-getter who believes faith is for those who do not have the strength to fight their own battles. Speaking about his new role, Suri said, “It is only through prayers that I got this role in Kalash so it is amusing that my character does not believe in God. I am very religious and I strongly believe in Sai Baba.” With a laugh, he added, “There was this thought in my mind — will God be upset with me portraying this character ”
