Erica Fernandes surprises father on birthday

Erica Fernandes is currently making waves as Sonakshi in the show, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi. Even though the actress is hard pressed for time given her hectic schedule, she somehow managed to take time out to surprise her father on his birthday.

Erica took her dad to his favourite restaurant to celebrate his big day. She gifted him a set of perfumes and then called her family members and close friends for an impromptu party. Erica’s gesture overwhelmed her father, since he wasn’t expecting her to wind up from her shoot early that day. When we contacted Erica, she said, “I am really fortunate to have my parents by my side. Though I love both of them equally, I am more attached to my father. I was very keen on surprising him on his birthday since he always keeps complaining how we rarely spend time together these days. I made it a point to wind up early from my shoot that day and treat him at his favourite restaurant. My mother made arrangements for the party. After having a little celebration with my father, our family joined us. I could see that happiness in his eyes. The moments were priceless. I will cherish the experience for the rest of my life.”
