She will soon be seen making her big Bollywood debut opposite Irrfan Khan, but Pakistani actress Saba Qamar is already proving to be quite the charmer on television. Saba, who shot to fame with top-notch performances in Pakistani shows like Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam and Thakan, is currently seen as the lovable Sana in Paani Jaisa Pyaar on Zindagi.
Ask her whom she credits for her acting prowess and Saba says, “People keep asking me where I learnt acting. And I say that there is no special school for acting or drama where you can go and learn. The best place to learn acting is your own home. Everyday there is a new drama and every day you get to learn something new in your own house. So I have learned a lot from there.”
Her current show Paani Jaisa Pyaar has been keeping the audiences hooked. The intriguing storyline has everyone raving about the show with Saba’s performance emerging as a highlight. Mention that and the actress smiles and says, “Yes, the storyline is very gripping, bold and unconventional. I am touched by the heart-warming response. The Indian audiences have accepted me wholeheartedly. I find that very encouraging.”
