‘I like playing the troublemaker’

Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchan Hai makers are all set to introduce Reshmi Ghosh as a high profile owner of a successful music company. Reshmi will play Protima Das, who will approach sisters Kalyani and Ketki (played by Amrita Rao and Aditi Vasudev) to sing for her company. Reshmi will be instrumental in creating a rift between the two sisters.

Speaking about her character, Reshmi says, “The project really attracted me. I will be playing an independent woman who is the proud owner of a huge music company. It is obviously not a positive character, as she will be creating differences between protagonists Kalyani and Ketaki. I like playing the troublemaker. It offers me a chance to bring a lot of variations on the screen. The story is so real that I knew I had to do it. I am confident the audience will like it.”
