Aman Verma is the latest contestant to be ousted from the Bigg Boss house. The actor who was considered as one of the strongest contenders was shown the door by the audience this week. His fellow housemates were as surprised as the actor, when Salman Khan announced his name. Aman says, “I am surprised to be out of the house this early but nonetheless, I have no regrets; I had a wonderful experience in the house. I feel very happy to be out of the madhouse.”
Aman came across as a sensible and sorted contestant, a trait that he feels led to his ouster. “I do not cross the line and don’t believe in hitting below the belt even during arguments, but the show is about getting dirty. I would not lose my class and sophistication for the show. I was logical and I did not need aggression and screaming to put my thoughts across,” he adds. “We had a game where a person like Rimi who has not been performing at all in any of the tasks, was given the power to nominate the worst performer. The rules of the game were simple and that’s how I got evicted,” he rues.
How did he decide to be a part of the show in the first place “I wasn’t following the show at all. All I knew was people go inside and pick fights. I had a certain kind of image attached to me and wanted to clear the same. I’m very happy that Salman helped clear my tarnished image,” he says in reference to the casting couch controversy. And what does he feel about his previous housemates “I was closest to Keith and he was a genuine guy. Rochelle was under Keith’s wing for a long time but now that he is not a part of the show she has come up with her own personality. Mandana is mentally very strong, Kishwer however lets the negativity around her affect her badly; the boys are simply following these girls and don’t have a brain of their own. Rishabh is behaving like an a** and he should not be doing that,” Aman points out.
Is he willing to enter the house again as a wildcard if approached “I was very impressed to hear that my co-contestants saw me as competition and thought that I would reach the finals. I would love to go back in the show, as The Bigg Boss house has taught me a lot of patience,” he adds.
