Popular singing reality show, The Voice India, is back with a new version for kids called The Voice India Kids. The original show had been popular with the audiences, and the makers hope to keep viewers gripped this time around too by featuring talented kids from across the country. To up the entertainment quotient of the show, we hear that the channel has roped in actor Jay Bhanushali as its host. While Jay will play the main anchor, comedian Sugandha Mishra will keep him company as co-host for special segments.
Jay, who was recently seen on the big screen in Hate Story 2, is more than glad to return to television with the show. “I have watched the earlier season of The Voice India and enjoyed it a lot,” said an excited Jay. “I’m glad they’re coming up with a kids show now. I have hosted dance reality shows earlier but this will be a new experience altogether.” Talking about his plans for the show, Jay said, “I have an ear for music and I’ve always had a weakness for kids. It’s fun to nurture them and see them grow. This talented bunch has an amazing, infectious sort of energy that passes to you and gives you a high. I’m thrilled to be on board. When they approached me, I had no reason to say no.”
