Kissa kiss ka!

Recently, the lead actors of Tere Bin, Gaurav Khanna and Shefali Sharma, were required to shoot an intimate kissing scene for a key sequence. However, the shoot didn’t go as planned. Shefali wasn’t comfortable smooching on-screen, since she is married. Incidentally, Gaurav too developed cold feet as he too is getting hitched this month. The crew ended up using a cheat shot between the lead pair.

Confirming the development, Gaurav says, “Just like Shefali, I wasn’t comfortable locking lips for the sequence. So, we had to do with a cheat shot. I come from a very modern family, but I do feel television audience is still not ready to witness very intimate scenes like these as yet. In our country, the entire household watches TV, including the kids. I have grown up watching television with my sisters, so I know how uncomfortable it can get. There’s nothing wrong with kissing, but this cheat shot looks as good as real.”

Shefali, on her part, said, “I am not open to kissing scenes because I am a married woman. I have a family to answer to back home. The idea of shooting intimate scenes really makes me very uncomfortable. So when I expressed my reservations, the crew decided to make do with a cheat shot.”
