Mendak surprises on the sets of Chidiya Ghar

The cast and crew of Chidiya Ghar got a grand surprise when co-star Manish Vishwakarma aka ‘Mendak’ landed on the sets unannounced. The actor, who had suffered a serious accident last year, had been comatose for nearly a month. After coming out of the coma, he remained bedridden due to severe brain damage. He is recovering well and is able to do his daily chores. He still needs help to walk and his speech is impaired, but his family is confident that it’s only a matter of time before he’s able ot talk normally again.

Commenting on Manish’s surprise visit, one of the leads of the show Aditi Sajwan said, “We were very happy to see Manish. I was shooting and the rest of the cast had a day-off, so unfortunately they could not meet him. I am grateful to God for bringing him back from the dead and to his family also for taking such good care of him. He met the entire unit and even tried talking to us in gestures. He posed for pictures and promised to visit next week again. When my co-actors got to know about it, they were equally happy and overjoyed.”
