Trump calls moon 'part of Mars', asks NASA to focus on 'bigger things'
Trump's comment came ahead of NASA's 2024 moon mission which will carry humans around the moon for the first time after five decades.
Mumbai: In a tweet on Saturday, US President Donald Trump said that NASA should not be talking about going to the moon because it was something that happened '50 years ago'.
He further commented saying that 'moon is a part of Mars' and was trolled on the internet.
For all of the money we are spending, NASA should NOT be talking about going to the Moon - We did that 50 years ago. They should be focused on the much bigger things we are doing, including Mars (of which the Moon is a part), Defense and Science!
