Pak shocked and saddened' by London terror attack, condemns it

Islamabad: Pakistan on Sunday called terrorism a global "menace" that needs to be tackled with collective effort and cooperation as it strongly condemned the terror attack in London which claimed six lives.

"We are deeply shocked and saddened by the horrific act of terrorism in London in which, reportedly, six innocent people have been killed and dozens have sustained injuries," the Foreign Office said.
Terrorism is a global menace and hence a common challenge that needs to be tackled with collective effort and cooperation, it said. It said Pakistan strongly "condemns" the terrorist attack and sympathise with the people and the UK.
"Our heart goes out to the victims and their families. We express our deepest condolences to the bereaved families at the loss of their beloved ones and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured. We stand in solidarity with them in their hour of grief," it said.
