The Shamitabh actors fly to Gujarat today to take part in the Makarsankranti celebrations in the state
Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush will fly to Ahmedabad today to celebrate Makarsankranti with the chief minister of Guajrat. The actors have a strategy in place to promote their upcoming film Shamitabh. Apparently, Dhanush and Bachchan will enact their reel life ego war in a traditional kite fight.
A large number of the locals will be attending the event to celebrate the festival and catch a glimpse of Big B. Special security arrangements have been made for both the stars and the government officials who’ll be present for the event. Last year, it was Salman Khan who promoted his film Jai Ho in Guajrat. Back then Narendra Modi was the chief minister of the state.
“Shamitabh is a special film for Mr Bachchan and since he is the brand ambassador of Gujarat, it only makes sense to reach out to the people out here,” says a close source. It has also been heard that team Shamitabh have expressed their desire to show the film to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
