Ayushmann Khurrana focuses on his next with Parineeti Chopra
Ayushmann Khurrana who was shooting for Aanand L. Rai’s Manmarziyan has given those dates to another film titled Meri Pyaari Bindu. The shoot of Rai’s film has stopped now as the director’s vision is not aligning with that of the producer, so some changes need to be made. Meri Pyaari Bindu is being made under the Yash Raj banner. It was supposed to go on the floors in May, but now the shoot has been pushed ahead and it will start in mid-April itself. The film stars Parineeti Chopra opposite Ayushmann. It will be produced by Maneesh Sharma and debutant Akshay Roy will be directing it.
The actor confirmed the news saying, “Yes my dates for Manmarziyan have now been allotted to Meri Pyari Bindu and the film has been pre-poned. I will also be going to US for my gigs.” The busy actor has many reasons to smile, now that his last release Dum Lagaa Ke Haisha has won the National Award for the best Hindi film. “I was in the gym when my father called to congratulate me. It was he who told me about the award. Sharat too had no idea. Magic happens when you don’t expect anything from life. Last year we had some amazing films like Piku, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Masaan. Some were critically acclaimed, some others did great commercially. I had no expectations. As a person I am never too happy or never too sad. But this was a very special film and gave me more credibility than any other film — I truly arrived as an actor with this film.”
