The gorgeous Bipasha Basu may have been missing from the big screen for a while — but she’s making up for it with a film announcement, her TV show Darr Sabko Lagta Hai and another miniseries with some leading filmmakers.
Of her plans — and her less-than-prolific recent screen outings — Bips says, “I began working at an early age and now I plan to take it easy and pick work carefully. I have seen the highs and lows of the industry, done all kinds of films and the experience has made me stronger. Yes, I take vacations often but I do it with my hard-earned money, and after all these years of work, I feel I deserve these little breaks. But it’s not that work is slowing down, I have very interesting projects coming my way — I ust don’t want to slog on the sets all day. I prefer doing one film at a time.”
Since she has been associated with the horror genre for her past few films, and now her TV show too, isn’t Bips afraid of being typecast Does she intend to do a romantic or comedy film to break out of the horror genre
“I would love to do all kinds of films,” Bips says. “As for the horror tag, I really don’t mind it as long as I’m doing good work. I haven’t played safe with my choices in films and it’s great that it has worked for me, I have no complaints really.”
