Deepika Padukone goes to Hollywood, will star in Vin Diesel's next 'XXX'

Actress flew to US 2 days ago, and posted this photo on Instagram.

: It is confirmed! Our very own Deepika Padukone is Hollywood’s latest entry from Mumbai.

Deepika, who set Instagram ablaze Friday evening by posing in a photo with Hollywood actor Vin Diesel, will be the female lead in the action star’s next XXX francishe, ‘Xander Cage Returns’.

The actress is seen in the photo hugging Vin Diesel though he has his back to the camera. But his signature bald pate gives him away. Interestingly, one can see the logo of the movie franchise 'XXX' in the background.

Deepika’s manager Anirban Blah posted the photo on his Facebook page and wrote a congratulatory message above it: -"Am so so proud of this girl. What an announcement... What a journey it has been!!-"

Deepika grabbed headlines a few years ago when she was approached to star in 'Fast and Furious 7' but turned down the offer to accommodate dates for 'Happy New Year'. But now it seems another big Hollywood connect is emerging for the popular actress.

A source told this website, -"The night after the success party of 'Tamasha', Deepika flew to America for a meeting with Hollywood star Vin Diesel. No wonder, Ranveer Singh is still promoting his next release alone! But who knew Deepika would suprise everybody with this photograph! It is a big achievement for her and she is finishing all formalities in America. She is returning to India tomorrow night.-"
