Farhan Akhtar believes in gifting himself a break once every few weeks. Unlike other Bollywood actors who take off to Europe and North America for a long vacation after a long schedule of work, Farhan drives down to good old Lonavala as and when he can. Instead of long vacations, he opts for shorter, but more regular breaks. With the release of his film Shaadi Ke Side Effects pushed to February, he has more time on hand and hence scooted off to the hill station again. “He has a bungalow in Lonavala which was recently done up. Besides, his wife Adhuna is a busy hairstylist and daughters Shakya and Akira are in school, so taking off for a long break has too many conditions. A weekend getaway suits everybody in the family. He’s always accompanied by friends and family on these trips, and uses it as a time to bond with family. Also, he is a nature lover, so staying put in his pad at a quiet place suits him just fine,” says a source close to the actor.
