Housefull 4 to retain Akshay-Riteish jodi
It looks like Housefull 4 will not only see Sajid Nadiadwala and Sajid Khan’s partnership come alive again, but will also retain Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh’s association. In 2010, producer Nadiadwala roped in Khan post his film Heyy Babyy to direct Housefull, with a huge ensemble star cast. The movie went on to be one of the biggest blockbusters of that year, and made Khan one of the most successful directors. The franchise also spawned a second instalment in 2012, called Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen, which was a blockbuster too.
However, owing to certain differences, the duo discontinued the association and the producer roped in duo Sajid-Farhad to direct Housefull 3. The Sajid-Farhad combination had earlier written the screenplay for the first two editions of Housefull.
We were the first to inform you that Nadiadwala had roped in Khan once again for Housefull 4, and now it looks like Akshay and Riteish are to be retained for that winning combination. A source says, “Nadiadwala and Khan have decided to retain Akshay and Riteish for the fourth instalment from the primary star cast and will sign new actors for the film.”
When contacted, director Khan said, “It’s too early to say anything about the casting. None of us know who all are going to be part of this film.”
