Hrithik Roshan can finally breathe easy now. The Mumbai High Court has given his film, Mohenjo Daro a clean chit in a plagiarism charge and even berated the complainant Akshaditya Lama, who falsely accused Ashutosh Gowariker of copying his script. This development has apparently filled Hrithik with hope for justice, especially at a time when his home production, Kaabil has been embroiled in copyright issues.
He is also hopeful of a clean and fast resolution to his unsavoury conflict with Kangana Ranaut, where the actor has been accused of a clandestine liaison for 7 years. An accusation he stoutly denies.
A friend of Hrithik reveals, “His close friends and family know what the truth is. After Hrithik’s friend and director Ashutosh Gowariker’s name was cleared by the court of plagiarism charges, Hrithik is more certain than ever that the legal system will provide him justice in the Kangana case. He is determined to fight it out to the end.”
In a statement, Hrithik reacting to Mohenjo Daro being cleared of plagiarism charges, said, “It’s always heartening and reassuring when you see truth succeed.”
